Hi ! My name is Sandrine. I work in a junior high school in Guérande in France and I have been teaching English for quite a long time. Now, I am more and more interested in new teaching methods to help students who have some difficulties to learn.
I love taking part in projects, especially with foreign colleagues and their students. They are such rewarding experiences. This will be our first Erasmus Plus project KA2. So I am excited and I hope I will be up to it! I really want our students to get the opportunity to discover new people and cultures and also another way to learn at school so as to have a reassuring outlook on their future.
Sandrine
Hello ! My name is Stéphanie Paul. For twenty-six years now, I have been teaching French to students of widely varying ages (from 10 to 40 😉). I am also very happy to teach cinema in our school for those of the kids that chose this subject. I decided to create this cinema option in our school “Collège Saint Jean-Baptiste” in Guérande after coming back from an Erasmus+ mobility in Iceland in 2018.
If you ask me what gives me reasons for being a teacher, I will answer: projects, desire for novelty, welcoming the differences, going off to explore and encouraging desire for discovery, happiness created by interactions, discovering many new things, and meeting new people to share with the others. That is also why I am very glad to take part in Erasmus projects!
Stéphanie
Hello colleagues from Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Turkey and Bulgaria! My name is Veronique and I have been teaching history and geography for 26 years.
I am very interested by pupils who have special educational needs; this is the reason why I have been taking part in projects for 7 years to help them to overcome their difficulties and not lose confidence in themselves. More than anything, I love taking part in projects with my colleagues who teach other subjects. Hence, I participated to an Erasmus project and went to Finland in 2019 to discover the educational system with my colleague, Nadine. It was a very great experience! When I don't teach, I like reading, walking in the nature especially on the beach, playing guitar and sharing a good meal with good wines.
I am very excited to meet new foreign colleagues to share our experiences and cultures.
See you soon!
Véronique

My name is Anne-Claire. I’m 49 years old and have been teaching french for 26 years. I like the curiosity and spontaneity of the students, that’s why I love my job. I also like cinema and I am happy that my colleague Stéphanie suggested me to participate in the cinema option at school. The erasmus project interests me a lot because il would allow me to discover new cultures, new ways of teaching, but also because it would give a new dynamic in my profession.

I am an English teacher-
I have a genuine interest for students' abilities and personal needs/character, therefore I am always looking for new challenges like this Erasmus project. Other characteristics of effective teaching include an engaging classroom presence, value in real-world learning, exchange of best practices and a lifelong love of learning. My students tend to fall into a mix of ages from 12 to 18 years old.
I believe in Europe and I am very grateful that we have achieved this project after a long period of hard work with my beloved colleagues. I have learned a lot with them and I am happy that I can pass it on to my students. I am enthusiastic about learning opportunities for students and about their learning goals and achievements.
About my personal features, I am loyal, honest, reliable and hardworking teacher.
